Just off the coast of the Gulf in Citrus County, FL, the 18-hole golf course at Southern Woods Golf Club opened for play in 1992. Designed by architect Hale Irwin, the course measures 6,935 yards from the back tees, with a USGA rating/slope of 73.0/127.

The club also offers a double-sided driving range, putting green and chipping green, as well as lessons from a staff of PGA golf professionals.
